Sourdough Buttermilk Waffles with Protein

Ingredients 

All purpose flour, whole wheat flour, buttermilk, sourdough discard, coconut oil, eggs, sugar,  protein powder (optional, replace with flour), salt, baking soda.

In your blender or whisking by hand:

Mix Protein Powder with wet ingredients.

Use the Right Flour

Add Wet ingredients to dry ingredients, whisk to just combine. Don't overmix. Bake in your waffle iron.

Icing sugar Blueberries, raspberries, banana, apple, pomegranate, nut butter, Nutella, Maple syrup, chocolate chips
